Prince Harry will become the vice patron of the Rugby Football Union.
The 25-year-old royal, who is already the vice patron of the Welsh Rugby Union, is going to extend his duties, which started in February when he will join his brother Prince William at the first match of the RBS 6 Nations when England play Wales.
John Owen, who is the president of the Rugby Football Union, revealed his support for the RFU Injured Players’ Foundation will be invaluable in helping those seriously injured playing the game. The first game of the 6 Nations will take place exactly 100 years to the day since the first international game at Twickenham, which was also between England and Wales.
