During a visit to Cardiff, Prince William explained why he won’t play golf and how he got his “Harry Potter” scar.
The Duke of Cambridge was asked if he likes to tee off after picking up a biodegradable golf tee made from marine algae. He declined the offer. He was pointing to a scar above his left eye and shared that he hasn’t played golf since being accidentally struck with a golf club as a child. While in Cardiff, Prince William met with businesses and organizations that utilize seaweed at Cardiff Metropolitan University. The visit also discussed seaweed’s benefits, investment in sustainable products, and a chat with Pierre Paslier, co-founder of Notpla, which supplies seaweed packaging. Meanwhile, fans praised and admired Prince William for taking on more royal duties. The 42-year-old prince has been more spotlighted since King Charles received his cancer treatment.
