Adam Lambert seemed to stood out when when the American Idol Top 10 finalists performed Sunday night at Cleveland State University’s Wolstein Center.
The American Idol runner-up sported a black leather as he performed Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love,” complete with mildly suggestive strokes of his microphone stand. It is not a surprise that he basked in the loudest cheers of the evening.
He also delivered the most adventurous set, eschewing obvious selections in favor of lesser-known tunes by Muse (“Starlight”) and Tears for Fears (“Mad World”) that suited his glittery sensibilities.
Adam also did David Bowie medley, culminating with “Let’s Dance.” Perhaps Kris Allen could have used a few star-power pointers from Adam.
