Angelina Jolie, a star of the movie “Mr. And Mrs. Smith”, could be a busy mother but she always has time for worthy causes.
The actress and U.N. Goodwill Ambassador declared last Thursday in Washington, D.C. that she is going to help in launching an advocacy group called Global Action for Children, which will focus on issues related to orphans, children and H.I.V.
GAC will be an umbrella group that will advocate for 20 other organizations that help needy children in developing nations. The new group will push the U.S. and other wealthy nations to increase their financial funding for charities that aid children in crisis.
The 31-year-old actress will be an Honorary Board Chairperson for GAC.
