AT&T is the latest major sponsor that cut ties with the shamed golfer Tiger Woods.
The phone company dropped its sponsorship deal with the 34-year-old golfer after he hit the headlines with his numerous affairs. A report indicated that AT&T hasn’t used Tiger’s image extensively in advertising, but its logo appeared on his golf bag. The deal was labeled as a “multi-year” agreement when it was signed earlier this year.
Although Tiger has been the host of the AT&T National PGA Tour event since 2007, the company dished that it would continue to sponsor that event, which will take place in July.
