Tokyo International Film Festival just announced that Brad Pitt’s “Moneyball” became their selection for this year’s closing film.
The actor’s film is about the true story of Oakland A’s general manager Billy Beane’s successful attempt to put together a baseball club on a budget by employing computer-generated analysis to draft his players. Meanwhile, Tokyo International Film Festival opens October 22, with “Moneyball” set to draw the final curtain of the event with an October 30th showing.
