Brittany Murphy was laid to rest at Twilight on Thursday. A private ceremony held before family and friends at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles.
It was reported that Kaddish, which is a traditional Jewish mourning prayer, was recited and the hymn “Amazing Grace” was sung. At the funeral, her husband called her a soulmate and continued to say that you may never know when love would strike or how quickly it will be taken away from you.
Other family members and friends revealed their memories and the service was concluded with a reading from The Little Prince. The official cause of Brittany’s death will not be known for weeks pending toxicology results by the L.A. coroner.
