Bruno Mars declared the war on his music publisher because the company refused to let him out of the contract.
The singer claimed that Bug Music, Inc. failed to pick up the option on his contract after delivering an agreed upon number of songs. In the documents, Bruno turned all of his music by February and Bug never got back to him so he considered the contract terminated. Bug claimed that the singer is still under a contract which gives them 50% of the copyrights of any music he makes.
