Prince William and Kate Middleton selected Leicestershire, England-based cake designer, Fiona Cairns to make a cake for their wedding on April 29.
A palace spokesperson revealed that the wedding cake will be a multi-tiered traditional fruit cake, which will be decorated with cream and white icing as well as British floral theme with elements of Joseph Lambeth technique.
Fiona was chosen for her creative style and use of traditional British ingredients. There will also be a chocolate biscuit cake, which was created McVitie’s Cake Company, for the reception at Buckingham Palace
