Charlie Sheen has bailed himself out of jail, which is contrary to reports that he will be held without bond after his Christmas arrest for domestic violence charges.
The “Two and a Half Men” star has been released from Pitkin County Jail after giving a $8,500 bond on Friday evening. It was claimed that the actor was arrested after a 911 call from his wife Brooke Mueller, reportedly claiming that he choked her during a heated argument at their home in Aspen, Colorado.
It was reported that his wife was legally drunk when she called 911. Meanwhile, Charlie, who was booked for second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief, is set to appear on court on February 8, 2010 at 10.30 A.M.
