Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall has been invited by Prince William and Prince Harry to attend a memorial service marking the tenth anniversary of the death of their mother, Princess Diana.

The gesture showed how much the two young princes have accepted the new wife of their father into their lives. In the past both young men have made their feelings for the Prince Charles’ long-time love clear. Prince Harry describes Camilla as a “wonderful woman.” He added, “William and I love her to bits. She’s made our father very, very happy, which is the most important thing.”

The late Princess’ brother, Earl Spencer, and her sisters Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes assisted Prince William and Prince Harry in making the guest list for the special memorial service of Princess Diana. Five hundred guests are scheduled to attend the service at Wellington Barracks in the chapel of the Household Division.
Prince William and Prince Harry apparently picked the venue instead of picking obvious choices like Westminster Abbey because they wanted an intimate setting. As a mark of respect to their late mother, they did not choose St. Paul’s Cathedral St Paul’s Cathedral because it was the place where Princess Diana and Prince Charles were married.
