“Hannah Montana,” which made Miley Cyrus one of the biggest stars, will certainly end after its upcoming fourth season in 2010.
Officials at Disney Channel, which was the show’s home, confirmed the decision and a representative for Miley Cyrus also confirmed. The network does not know how many episodes will be shot or precisely when they’ll air. The final episodes’ plot will reportedly mirror Miley Cyrus’ own life, as her character struggles with whether to leave behind her pop starlet persona for a “regular” life as a teenage girl.
The production on the final season is scheduled to begin on January 18 and continue throughout the summer. Lead star Miley will take a break in April to promote her film “The Last Song”.
