Leona Lewis, who was signing autographs and posed for photographs at a book signing session, was punched by a young man in the head in central London on Wednesday.
Stuart Bell, Lewis’ spokesman, revealed that the 24-year-old singer had been meeting members of the public at Waterstone’s book store in Piccadilly in central London for almost 90 minutes then a 29-year-old man came up and hit her. The man was immediately was later arrested by the police on the suspicion of assault and he is being held in custody.
As for the singer, she was shaken up by the incident and she went to see a doctor as a precaution.
