Mariah Carey posed for a very hot photo shoot as she stripped off for a set of snaps by Bruce Weber in American magazine.
The singer also provided the publication with a refreshingly candid take on the very public meltdown she suffered in 2001.
She revealed, “I consider the breakdown a breakthrough – I needed to hit rock bottom, however it happened. I needed to understand the cost of pushing so hard, fighting so hard against the system.”
She added, “You just can’t beat the system when they’re against you and are that strong…. But was I out of control at that moment? Yes. I believe that it happened for a reason.”
