Meghan Markle and Prince Harry start a new charitable foundation, Archewell and they looked forward to getting started with it.
The couple dished the scoop that the Greek word in the project, which means strength and action, was the inspiration behind the name of their son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor. They made the announcement of the new foundation just one day after the Queen addressed the UK regarding the coronavirus pandemic. They would replace their Sussex Royal brand with the new foundation after Queen Elizabeth II and senior officials were believed to have ordered them to drop the use of the word ‘royal.’ They also made plans that their new venture will include their own charity and a website. They will continue to share education and training materials through films, podcasts and books. Their announcement comes just one day after the Queen addressed the UK regarding the coronavirus pandemic. Meanwhile, the couple moved to Los Angeles with baby Archie to start their new life after they were forced to choose between financial independence or remaining as working members of the British royal family.
