Meghan Markle arrived in a golden glamor when she was honored at a New York banquet.
The Duchess of Sussex made a royal debut at a glitzy celebration in New York City Tuesday night. Although she didn’t make it to the coronation at Buckingham Palace, she was sure that she will glitter in a quilted gold Joanna Ortiz gown ($1,850). The strapless Ideal Universe midi dress revealed more skin because it had a little diamond cutout and a knee-length slit. She added her glamorous look with Gold Tom Ford stilettos ($1,350), a yellow Carolina Herrera clutch ($1,100), and hoop earrings. The brunette beauty wore her hair swept to one side in loose curls and chose minimal makeup for the event. Her husband, Prince Harry wore a navy suit with a light blue tie while strolling with her mother, Doria Ragland. Meanwhile, Meghan received the Women of Vision Award from Gloria Steinem, the iconic feminist and co-founder of the Ms Foundation for Women. The 41-year-old former actress was an honoured guest at the event for her global advocacy to empower and advocate on behalf of women and girls in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the nation’s oldest women’s organization. In her speech, she encouraged women to find the motivation to fight for equality upon accepting the award. She also added that it is never too late to begin. It is because you have the ability to be the visionary of your own life. And there is still so much work to be done.
