Queen Elizabeth II seems to be proud of her great grandson since she displayed the Prince George’s official portrait in her Scottish Highlands home.
The portrait of the new monarch is displayed in Her Majesty’s sitting room at Balmoral. It has special place on a side table, where several portraits are included like portraits of the Queen’s great-great-grandmother Queen Victoria, a young Prince Albert, and granddaughters Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice. Meanwhile, the portrait was shot about a month after Prince George’s July 22 birth by Duchess Kate’s father. It shows the Duchess of Cambridge carrying her newborn son and standing beside her husband, Prince William.
