Prince William presents shamrocks to the troops from the 1st Battalion Irish Guards for the celebration of St. Patrick’s Day parade.
The event marks the first time that a male royal family presents the traditional shamrocks to the Irish guards. The 33-year-old royal also presents a sprig of shamrock to Domhnall, who is the regiment’s mascot and Irish wolfhound. Meanwhile, Prince William is smiling when he arrives at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which happens at the Cavalry Barracks in Hounslow on March 17 in London, England.
