Princess Kate visited a baby bank in Barnet, north London, to launch The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood’s initiative to help families with young children in the run-up to Christmas.
Princess of Wales made Early Years Development the focus of her work in the royal family. During her tour, the 41-year-old royal learned about the vital work done by baby banks across the UK to provide necessary supplies to families, such as clothing, diapers, toiletries, and baby equipment. She also helped volunteers and Shaping Us champion Giovanna Fletcher finish up Sebby’s annual Christmas Grotto, which gives a location for struggling families to purchase gifts for their children. Finally, The Princess spoke with representatives from Baby Banks from throughout the UK on the growing demand for their services. Meanwhile, Princess Kate wore a little application of foundation and black eyeliner that complemented her business casual appearance well.
