Rihanna has joined DKMS, which is the world’s largest bone marrow donor center, to help Seun Adebiyi, a 26-year-old aspiring Winter Olympian from Nigeria who has been diagnosed with leukemia.
The “Umbrella” singer was so moved by Adebiyi’s plea for help in battling his disease that she offered to support his campaign in finding donors. She is determined to recruit 10,000 bone marrow donors.
Meanwhile, Rihanna’s latest single “Rude Boy” is expected to be release both the U.S. and the U.K. Its premiere on the U.S. radio will be on February 9.
