Robert Pattinson is reportedly in negotiation with Fox 2000 Pictures to join Reese Witherspoon in the upcoming romantic drama “Water For Elephants.”
He was being offered the role of Jacob Jankowski, an orphaned veterinary student who is put in charge of caring for the animals in a traveling circus. If the deal is closed, then the British actor is expected to portray the role of a veterinary student who falls in love with Reese Witherspoon’s character in the flick.
“Water for Elephants” which focuses on a love triangle among circus employees during a Depression era in America will be directed by Francis Lawrence. Meanwhile, Robert is included in the two-hour Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief special, which will start at 8pm ET on January 22.
