Robert Pattinson is not yet confirmed to secure a spot in “Yellow Submarine”, a film about the legendary British band The Beatles as it was too early to say that the British actor will play John Lennon.
A report suggested that the “Twilight” heartthrob is in negotiation to appear in “Yellow Submarine.” He is believed to be in talks with director Robert Zemeckis to play the late great Beatle in Disney’s 3-D remake of the classic cartoon. But no one that has been contacted to confirm Rob’s potential involvement.
Meanwhile, the new film is reportedly going to be set in Pepperland, an undersea paradise protected by Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. The script is penned by Robert Zemeckis who will also serve behind the lens, while the film is targeted for a 2012 release schedule.
